Immediately after I received this in the mail I wanted to put it to the test. I wanted something that would really amp up my little lashes so I wouldn’t have to try and wear falsies in the humidity and the heat. I’ve had them embarrassingly pop off before a few weeks ago. And as I had mentioned before I ran out of the base/ lash builder I was using before and the black bean nourishing my lashes caught my attention so this made its way into my shopping cart.
These are the claims:
A multi-functional mascara base that resolves your concerns about thin and short eyelashes with healthy nutrients from black beans and a volume effect from 3mm black fibers. Contains black bean extract that provides healthy protection to your eyelashesA lash primer that enhances the adhesion and vivid coloring of mascara with its rich jelly bean formula.
The wand has a slight bend in it that made it easy to get in an coat my lashes. This has a TON of fibers in it so sensitive eyes should beware.
I curled both sides and the left is just the base and the right eye is bare. I might wear this when I’m having a no make up day it gave length and definition.
Here is with mascara on both sides. The left side has both the base and mascara and the right side is just mascara. It makes my lashes look fuller and more fluttery, but it didn’t really add more length than my mascara did. It did hold he curl in my lash as well so that was a nice plus, and it was easy to remove at the end of the day. I’m not really sure how nourishing this is I guess only time will tell.
- easier to remove
- gives full lash and adds some length
- helps hold curl
- can be worn alone for a natural look
- not too sure about the nourishing claim
- can irritate eyes
- didn’t add length once I added mascara
I liked it enough to finish off the tube, but I will still be on the look out for a base that gives me the perfect faux lash and I don’t think I’ll repurchase.
Thank you so much for reading! See you next time.
