Empties + Would I Repurchase?

I hope your Saturday is a great kick off to this fall season. Today I was woken up with a gorgeous overcast day. The cool fall weather really sneaks up on you on the east coast. Yesterday it was almost 90 degrees and I was in shorts and today I am in my favorite hoodie and my sweats and loving it! I started to save my empty products and I don’t have very many but I thought I would share them and if I would repurchase them again or not?

The Face Shop Herb Day Cleansing Tissue: I found a The Face Shop hiding in Philly and immediately made my boyfriend pull over so we could go in and he learned of my love of Korean beauty products. The woman at the store recommended these for acne prone skin and I did like them they removed my make up pretty well. They would leave my skin kind of dry after use. I don’t think i’d be repurchasing these.

Botanical Choice “Tea Tree” Heat Activated Scalp & Hair Mask: So after I used up the honey version I purchased the other versions as well to see how well they worked. This one was an ABSOLUTE DUD! This turned my hair into straw after I washed it out. No I will never be repurchasing this product ever.

Botanical Choice “Jojoba Oil” Hydrating Hair Mask: This was pretty meh. I didn’t notice too much hydration. I will not be repurchasing this again.

Japonesque Velvet Touch Foundation: I liked this foundation for the fall/ winter time it is a very thick foundation and it blurs my imperfections. It HAS to be set with powder otherwise it will migrate. I have already repurchased this for the upcoming cold weather.

Bath and Body Works Velvet Sugar Mist: The third time my boyfriend and I had met he flew into San Francisco and to kill time during rush hour traffic we wen to the mall and shopped a little bit and he purchased this scent for me. And I get a TON of compliments on it. It is a really sweet scent as the name would suggest. If they still make this scent I will repurchase or get something similar.

Neutrogena Clear Pore Oil-Eliminating Astringent: When I first moved across country my acne flared up and was worse than I had ever seen it before and I was so desperate to find anything that would help it subside. This is pretty harsh and it did help cut down a lot of my acne. I won’t be repurchasing because I found something gentler that works better.

Avéne Thermal Spring Water: I would have never purchased this on my own because like most people I would have though…water in a can what will this do? I got this in an Ispy bag a while ago and used it over the hot California summer on days when I would be outside all day and still wanted to look flawless. I am not sure what it is but this stuff is AMAZING! It calms your skin and refreshed your face. I already repurchased the full sized bottle.

Holika Holika Sweet Cotton Sebum Clear Powder Mist: I thought this would be nice to keep my make up looking fresh and easier to touch up on the go instead of blotting. It had powder in the bottom and you would shake it up before spraying and to be honest I really didn’t see any difference. I will not be repurchasing.

Oscar Blandi Texture & Volume Spray: I am in love with this product! It would take my hair from drab to down right fabulous. A thousand times yes I will be repurchasing this product!

Benefit Stay Flawless 18 Hour Primer Mini: I really loved the formula of this. It is the only thing I’ve found that keeps my nose area from looking like an oil slick. I wish it had a different applicator because there was still SO MUCH PRODUCT in the base that I dug out. I’ve been trying to find something similar. I will begrudgingly repurchase this product.

Vasanti Brighten Up Enzyme Face Rejuvenator: I really enjoyed this product. It helped smooth out my face and didn’t feel harsh on my face at all. I got a sample of this in my Burchbox but after that runs out I will be repurchasing this item it really made a difference for my face.
