Hello Everyone! Summer is now in full effect on the East Coast and I feel like I can’t even walk to my car without completely becoming drenched in sweat. I apologize I didn’t really have a lot of favorites during the month of May which is funny I didn’t post because it was my birthday month! I tried some new products over the past two months and these were my favorites!
Milani Retouch + Erase Concealer in #02 Light: I did a review on this product recently and I will link that here if you would like to read a more in depth review. I love this product because it hides my dark circles and irons out any sort of puffiness. It really gives me a full rested look. The price is affordable as well at around $9 depending on where you purchase it.
Etude House Tint My 4-Tip Brow in #4 Gray Brown: This has been my almost daily brow product because the color match is spot on and the 4 pronged tip makes it easy to make a natural everyday eyebrow, but you can build it up for a more dramatic and full brow. The formula lasts for about a day and a half to two days which I found impressive and it is easy on the wallet at around $7.
Etude House Real Powder Cushion in Honey Beige: I have been really enjoying Etude House cushions lately. This is a med-full coverage cushion that sets to a powder and STAYS MATTE! I don’t need to powder with this foundation at all and it wears beautifully throughout the day. The color is a very close match as well. I’ve been enjoying this for oiler days, more humid days and I don’t have to worry about this foundation turning into an oil slick on me.
Pretty Vulgar Feathers Mascara: This is my daily mascara and I did a more in depth review on it and some other Pretty Vulgar items here. This has been my go to mascara because it helps plump up my lashes and gives them all day volume. It actually looks like I have lashes on my face and gives me enough confidence to go sans falsies. It is a bit on the pricier side but this is definitely a mascara I will be purchasing again when I run out.
Aritaum Baby Face Cream in Tea Tree: There are three incarnations of this product: tea tree, collagen, and hyaluornic acid and combines a 5 step routine into 1. These steps include: toner, lotion, essence, cream, and a moisture primer. It is very light on the skin and I use it twice a day and have noticed improvements in the severity of my break outs and the texture of my skin. This product is about $10 and nice when you’re feeling lazy or want to simplify your routine.
ELF Prism Shadows in Sunset: These are 6 metallic shades are soft and very blend able. These have a glittery overspray on them that I wasn’t too fond on but luckily its just an overspray. The colors are soft but pigmented and I enjoy using it for either a wash of color or creating simple looks with it.
BEN NYE Final Seal: This setting spray makes your makeup everything but bullet proof. It melts all the layers of your face together seamlessly and my makeup is unfazed by intense humidity and it also helps to control oil. This product is also very budget friendly bing under $10 it is an ABSOLUTE must for summer.
